Introduction:
Patients with clogged coronary arteries may have minimal symptoms and unremarkable EKG at rest, on the other hand some patients could have a lot of symptoms and EKG changes with no heart disease. Both groups needs a special test to identify the needs for any more aggressive invasive testing, and both could benefit from a cardiac stress test, during which exercise or chemical is used to stress the heart and identify any abnormalities could suggest heart disease.
